Leading the way in Edinburgh’s alternative nightclub scene, The Egg hatches every Saturday at Edinburgh College of Art’s ‘Wee Red Bar’.

"Quirky little" bar/club, The Wee Red Bar is nestled in the courtyard of the Art College. Main attractions are a cheap bar
and perhaps more-so the interesting music that is usually playing at its Gigs and Clubs.

Music Policy?

We have always played music that we like, across genres, from the '60s to the present. We play what one review
described as "Decent" music, and no "processed beat" home-made mash-ups of the cool and the crap - leave that
to the "2 Many DJs" wannabes.

We do take requests and we do pay attention if you write something we don't know, check out and find that we like...
